Anonymous: 25643 informs us that there is now also a new driver with software for the Gravis joysticks. With this driver, the joystick should work well under all Windows versions. Below is the changelog.

File Description:

This software package contains the latest drivers and software for Gravis hardware under Windows. It supports the following Gravis game controllers: Xterminator Force, Xterminator Dual Control, Xterminator Digital GamePad, Eliminator Precision Pro, Eliminator Joystick, Eliminator AfterShock, Eliminator GamePad Pro, BlackHawk Digital, GamePad Pro, Stinger, and Destroyer AfterShock.

Supported Operating Systems include: Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. Windows 95 support has been discontinued with version 4.4.
