Driver Update: GeForce Game Ready Driver 390.65 WHQL

Nvidia has released new stable GeForce drivers. The drivers are version number 390.65 WHQL and are suitable for Windows 7 and higher, with separate downloads as usual for 32bit and 64bit environments. The drivers can be used on all GeForce 400 series and higher cards. The new drivers include optimizations for the game Fortnite and add support for nVidia Freestyle. The changelog also shows a few bug fixes and a handful of problems that are already known, but for which there is no solution yet. The complete release notes are below:

Game Ready
Provides the optimal gaming experience for Fortnite, including support for ShadowPlay Highlights in Battle Royale mode.

Gaming Technology
Adds support for NVIDIA Freestyle which lets you apply post-processing filters to your games while you play.

Security Update

• CVE-2017-5753: Computer systems with microprocessors utilizing speculative execution and branch prediction may allow unauthorized disclosure of information to an attacker with local user access via a side-channel analysis.

• Added pop-up balloon to alert the user if an eGPU has been connected or disconnected.
