THQ Nordic has announced that Darksiders III will be released later this year on November 27. The publisher already announced in May last year that the action RPG would be released in 2018, but no release date was mentioned yet.

THQ Nordic and developer Gunfire Games have announced the release date to IGN. The developer has also released a new trailer via IGN. The trailer released during the game’s announcement featured only CGI footage, but the new trailer features quite a few battles from the third game in the Darksiders series.

It shows how the new protagonist, Fury, can shape-shift during battle into a form that uses a lot of fire, called Fury in her Flame form. Fury, like War and Death from the previous games, is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. She is a mage who not only uses magic to fight opponents, but is also armed with a whip and can take various forms.

In addition to the standard version, which will cost $60, there will also be a Collector’s Edition for $150 and even a $400 version that includes an amulet on a chain and four figurines of the action figures. Darksiders III will be released on November 27 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
