Canva becomes more of an ‘operating system’ marketing platform

Design platform Canva has unveiled a new operating system. It’s called the Creative Operating System, andit’ss intended as a virtual workplace for people who work in marketing. But it’s not quite an operating system either.

Canva as a marketing platform

The operating system is mainly based on AI and offers various ways to organize your marketing from start to finish. This is an AI model that is wholly focused on design. Although Canva calls it an operating system, it doesn’t go as deep as that. Canva has created a system that allows you to control everything, so you could call it an operating system. However, it does not want to compete with, for example, Windows or macOS. It’s like a virtual workspace where you log in and work with your marketing team. You can use it to express your entire creative work process.

It’s called Canva Grow; you can design ads and see how well they perform. AI then analyzes it and can give you tips to analyzes next campaign more successful. For example, an option has been added to better prepare newsletters, without having to go to Mailchimp.

It comes with a number of changes within the creative app. The video tool will be different, making it easier to edit, even if you have no skills. In addition, you can count on a new library with examples you can build on; more is possible with different layers of images. Canva also adds a Google Forms-like option that allows you to survey people. The answers arrive immediately on Canva Sheets.

Fear of subscriptions

It all sounds like a lot, but let’s be honest: if you use Canva to adjust still images, you won’t notice much. More and more is becoming possible on Canva, but the basics remain the same. It also does not appear that subscriptions will become more expensive or that separate subscriptions will be introduced again.

So it is mainly expanded for people instead of having any further consequences, which is gexcellent. Itis often said that AI drives up all prices everywhere, and that does not seem to be the case within Canva for a while. At least not now: that could, of course, change at some time.
