Aqara releases T1 light strip with Zigbee and built-in microphone

Xiaomi has released a color Aqara light strip with Zigbee support. The light strip can also be connected to Aqara’s hub and has support for Matter and a built-in microphone.

The comic is called the LED Strip T1. The T1 has ten Rgbic elements that can all be controlled separately. The lights in the strip can also display multiple colors per segment at the same time, instead of one color at a time.

The light strip works with Zigbee 3.0 and can be linked to Aqara’s hub. Users can also use Matter on the strip, but only if they have at least an Aqara 3.0 hub with that support. The light strip also has adaptive lighting where the light can be synchronized with music, for example. There is also a microphone in the light strip that can pick up that sound.

The T1 is two meters long and costs 49.99 euros. It is possible to purchase individual strips of one meter for 14.99 euros each. The device has an IP44 rating for splash resistance.
