Apple has released iOS 17.2. This mobile operating system update includes a diary app, some improvements and bug fixes, and gives iPhone 15 Pro users the ability to create Spatial Video recording.

The diary app can according to Apple provide users with suggestions about certain events that have occurred. The app would use data that the smartphone has registered for this, including location data, photos that have been taken or data from the health app.

The new update iPhone 13 and 14 models will have support for Qi2. This is the standard for wireless charging based on MagSafe, which supports a charging power of up to 15W. iPhone 15 Pro users will also be able to record videos in the Spatial Video format thanks to the update. Spatial Video recording will be used to play videos with Apple’s upcoming AR headset: Vision Pro.

Update, 11:20 am: Article edited. Previously it was stated that iPhone 15 users can make Spatial Video recordings. That is not the case. This feature is only available on iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max devices. Thanks to Saeverix.
