Alleged specs of Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Super line appear online

The alleged specifications of the GeForce RTX 30 Super line that Nvidia is said to be introducing are on the internet. HP also mentions the presence of an RTX 3080 Super in an all-in-one, which makes it likely that Nvidia will come with the Super generation.

The alleged specifications have been listed by kopite7kimi, a user who regularly posts accurate information about upcoming Nvidia products. Among other things, he reports that the RTX 3090 Super will have 10,752 CUDA cores and 24GB Gddr6x video memory. With this amount of cores, the card would have the full GA102 GPU.

Judging by the leaker’s information, the RTX 3070 Super doesn’t seem to improve much compared to its predecessor: only the video memory gets an upgrade from Gddr6 to Gddr6x. The biggest change seems to be the RTX 3060 series with the arrival of the Super series. It would get 5632 CUDA cores, compared to 4864 cores for the 3060 Ti and 3584 for the regular 3060. It seems that the RTX 3060 Super will be based on the GA104 GPU, just like the RTX 3060 Ti, but then with more cores activated.

Rumors have been circulating for some time about the arrival of a Super generation of the RTX 30 series. That arrival has been made slightly more likely by a temporary listing of an RTX 3080 Super on the product page of an Envy 34 AIO PC from HP, Videocardz noted. That PC will be released in October but could get an upgrade with that card at a later date. The Super designation has since been removed from the specifications of the Envy 34 AIO. The RTX 30-series Super is rumored to be released in early 2022.
