Acer Unveils Thin Swift X Laptop With 16:10 Display And Intel Arc GPU

Acer announces the Swift X line of ultraportables with 16:10 displays and Intel Alder Lake processors. There will be a 14-inch model with a GeForce RTX 3050 Ti from Nvidia and a variant with a 16-inch screen that gets an Intel Arc GPU.

Acer equips the Swift X 16″ SFX16-52G with an undisclosed Intel Alder Lake processor with four powerful and eight economical cores and with an Intel Arc GPU, also unspecified. The resolution of the 16″ screen is 2560×1600 pixels and the maximum brightness is 400cd/m².

The 14″ version of the Swift X, the SFX14-51G, has a resolution of 2240×1400 pixels and a maximum screen brightness of 300cd/m². This laptop is 1.8 cm thick and weighs 1.4 kilograms. Acer also supplies this model with an Intel Alder Lake processor with twelve cores, but the gpu is the RTX 3050 Ti from Nvidia.

Both laptops get 16GB of Lpddr5 and up to 2TB of SSD storage. The manufacturer also provides them with support for Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Prices and availability are not yet known.
