Your Apple Watch has a fresh new watch face – here you can find it

Spread the love

Yesterday, watchOS 26.5 was released for the Apple Watch, featuring one striking new feature: a new Pride watch face in all the colors of the rainbow. What kind of watch face is this? And where exactly can you find it?

New dial: pride luminance

Apple has announced a new Pride Edition sports band for the Apple Watch. Apple unveils new Pride 2026 Apple Watch band and accompanying watch face in honor of Pride Month 2026. The band is made of woven nylon threads in rainbow colors that subtly blend into one another, thereby symbolizing the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community.

The band also comes with the new Pride Luminance watch face, which matches the design of the band in terms of colors and pattern. And anyone with an Apple Watch can download it!

The dial comes in two variants – a radial version with colorful rays around the clock and a vertical version – and offers extra options to customize the colors to your own taste.

Here is how to set the new watch face

    1. Dial gallery – You can add the new watch face from the watch face gallery. To do this, open the Watch app on your iPhone and go to the Watch Faces tab. Tap ‘New Watch Faces’ at the very top.
    2. Download first – Pride Luminance is at the very top, but you need to download it first. So tap the ‘Download’ button next to it. Then tap one of the watch faces – it doesn’t matter which one.
    3. Colour – Which color scheme do you like best? Tap one of the 11 (!) dots at the top for a preset color palette.
    4. Custom color – If your color combination is not listed, tap the very first circle with the pencil icon. Then you can choose a color scheme yourself: you can select up to twelve colors using the circles.
    5. Form – Do you want a rectangular watch face or a circle? A radial style or would you prefer a striped one? You can select it all very easily. You can also add a few complications if you wish. Satisfied? Tap ‘Add to watch’. Here’s how to set the new watch face.

Please note: we experienced bugs while installing this watch face. For instance, watch face previews remained black. Restarting the iPhone resolved the problem.

watchOS 26.5 is new

To use the new watch faces, you must have watchOS 26.5. To install this on your watch, your iPhone must be updated to iOS 26.5 . In that version, you will also find Pride wallpapers that match the Pride watch face on the Apple Watch.
