Download AnyDVD 4.0.1.1 beta
SlySoft is currently working on a new generation of AnyDVD and 4.0.1.1 beta has just been released. The software runs in the background and automatically decrypts protected CDs and DVDs. All programs and the Windows operating system will see them as region-free and unprotected. In this release, the functionality introduced in beta 4.0.0.0 to bypass protection based on unreadable sectors has been improved:
4.0.1.1 (beta):
- New: Improved Option to remove “Copy Protection based on unreadable Sectors”
Bad sectors will be replaced with empty sectors, so other copy programs (eg, CloneCD 5, DVD Shrink) or simple file copy will work, too. You should enable this option, if you wish to copy a DVD with CloneDVD or a similar program.
4.0.0.0 (beta):
- The only new, but very important feature:
New: Option to remove “Protection based on unreadable Sectors”:
If this option is checked, AnyDVD will change the .IFO files on the DVD in a way, that a copy program like Elaborate Bytes’ CloneDVD will not try to copy the bad sectors of a DVD copy protection, and will be able to successfully make a copy. This feature will probably not work with other copy programs or with simple file copy, because the bad sectors are still present. You should leave this option unchecked, unless you wish to copy a DVD with CloneDVD.
