With all kinds of different media players and platforms, it can be difficult to share music easily. Wombat Share solves this problem in the form of a media player plugin. Once the plugin is launched, it will communicate all shared music to the network, which will be picked up by other clients. This way, all clients can easily stream music from each other. A few days ago, the Wombat Share protocol was upgraded to version 0.941. Of course, the plugins for foobar2000 and Winamp 5 had to be updated, and were given version numbers 0.71 and 0.66 respectively. A changelog was not available with this release, but the following news item was left on the website:
