Download Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.0
On the 64-bit version of Windows Vista, it is difficult to use drivers that do not have a digital signature. In the past it was possible to disable this option, but after installing security updates this is no longer possible. A small program has now appeared at NGO called Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider. This makes it possible to run Windows Vista in a so-called ‘test signing’ mode. Drivers will still need a signature, but it will not be digitally verified. It is therefore possible to create your own certificate, something that can be done by the same program.
The DSEO tool can only be used when the User Account Control is disabled, but after making the adjustments it can be enabled again. The only drawback of the program is that if the ‘test signing’ mode is enabled, the texts “Test mode” and “Windows Vista Build verbose” appear on the desktop. This is not the case when the classic mode theme is used.
