Xiaomi shows Xiaomi 13 Lite which will be released on March 13 along with the rest of the 13 series

Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which will be released in Europe on March 13 along with the already announced 13 and 13 Pro models. In addition, the Chinese manufacturer has announced the European prices of the devices.

The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were already presented in December, but the Lite version has now been shown for the first time. This entry-level model, unlike its two brothers, does not come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 soc, but instead has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. It also has a 120Hz AMOLED screen of 6.55 “and dimensions of 15.9×7.2cm. This makes it slightly larger than the regular Xiaomi 13, but smaller than the Pro version.

The primary camera of the Lite has a 1/1.56″ sensor. In addition, the smartphone contains an 8MP ultra-wide camera and, like the normal version and the Pro, has a 32MP selfie camera. The operating system, MIUI 4, also works , based on Android 12, instead of Android 13 like the other two variants, and the only member of the 13 series that does not support Wi-Fi 7. Finally, the Lite has lpddr4x memory and UFS 2.2 storage , while the other two have lpddr5x memory and UFS 4.0 storage.

The Xiaomi 13 Lite should cost 500 euros, the normal version 1000 euros and the Pro variant has a suggested retail price of 1300 euros. This makes the normal and Pro phones more expensive than the Xiaomi 12 equivalents that appeared around the same time last year; they cost 900 and 1100 euros respectively. The entry-level model is now cheaper; it received a suggested retail price of 700 euros last year. The Xiaomi 13 phones will be released in Europe on March 13.
