Download openSuse 10.2

Through the mailing list, the Novell development team has released a new version of OpenSuse in the form of 10.2 announced. The new release is available via this page downloaded via http and BitTorrent for x86, x86-64 and ppc systems. OpenSuse is a Novell initiative to promote the use of Linux. The downloads are provided with open source programs, but it is also possible to use closed source programs. More information about this can be found in this document. As usual, we ship all the latest open source packages available at the time. But we want to give special mention to the redesigned GNOME and KDE desktop, Firefox 2.0, ext3 as new default file system, support for internal SD card readers, new power management and last but not least our improved package management.
