Omega Corner has finally released new tweaked nVidia video drivers. Normally a few days after the official release of new drivers from Ati or nVidia, tweaked variants can be found on the Omega Corner site, but this time there were problems with the resolutions, laptop support and with some other things that nVidia had made in version 53.03. Fortunately, the problems have been solved and version 1.5303 is available immediately. These drivers are only for Windows 2000 and XP, people who are still with Windows 9x or Me machine will have to make do with version 1.4523† Finally, a quote from Omega Corner:

The long wait is over, the Nvidia Omega Drivers based on the Forceware 53.03 are available at last. As many of you have known, I have had many problems building up the new set, mainly resolutions, adding GO support for laptops and adapting to many other changes Nvidia made internally, but I’m happy to say that the problems where solved and now the full set is ready. Note to laptop users: These drivers add support for laptops, but not all laptops are supported yet, if you have a laptop model that is not supported by this set, ZIP and E-Mail me the INF file of the drivers that where originally shipped with your laptop, that way I can add support for it on the next release.
