The second alpha release, or prebeta as they call it, of version 0.99 of Exact Audio Copy has just been released. Exact Audio Copy is an advanced audio extraction program for reading protected or unprotected audio CDs to the computer, whereby you can choose almost any compression format imaginable. The program was developed by Andre Wiethoff, out of dissatisfaction with the extraction programs at the time, which often had poor results on damaged CDs. Exact Audio Copy uses a reading technique that can detect errors with very high reliability and in many cases even correct them. Through the AccurateRipplugin, the quality of the rip can be compared with that of other users. This version fixes some issues found in the first prebeta and text in accurate rip log file is now slightly clearer. In short, the changelog looks like this:
