Possible images of new Game of Thrones game appear on Twitter

Footage may have leaked of the new Game of Thrones game due out at the end of the current year. It is unknown whether these are authentic images of the game from Telltale Games.

The screenshots would be sent via the Twitter account Lifelower have been published, but the relevant tweets have since been deleted. It is unclear whether these are gameplay footage or if snapshots from an upcoming trailer were used. However, some characters from the TV series are clearly recognizable, including Tyrion and Cersei Lannister.

It was recently announced that Game of Thrones will have five playable characters and they belong to House Forrester. The choices the player makes affect the course of the game. It seems developer Telltale Games is pursuing a similar concept to the The Walking Dead series, among others, which was also developed by the American company.

The first episode of Game of Thrones is yet to be released before the turn of the year. The first season exists according to Telltale Games from six episodes. The game will initially be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and iOS.
