The Windows version of Watch Dogs: Legion has got its multiplayer mode. The game mode was not present in the release version of the game and while the console versions got the mode on March 9, it was delayed a little longer on Windows.

The Windows version of the game experienced crashes with certain video cards in multiplayer mode. The fact that Ubisoft is now releasing the mode for players probably means that those problems have been solved. All in all, the Windows multiplayer element has been over four months since the game’s release; the release was on October 29.

Ubisoft also recently announced that it is working on crossplay and crossgen support. This means that barriers such as differences in platforms or generations of consoles are removed and all those players can play with or against each other via matchmaking in the online mode. The advantage of this is that it is easier to find fellow players. When this will come is unknown.

Watch Dogs: Legion is the third game in the franchise. The game has a third-person perspective and the story revolves around hacker group DedSec. They have to save a fictional, futuristic and dystopian London from the grip of Albion, a private military company , who wants to turn the city into a police state. The game’s multiplayer features co-op content, as well as pvp content for teams of up to eight people.
