Nintendo will release Princess Peach: Showtime for the Switch on March 22

Nintendo shared more details about its upcoming Princess Peach game on Thursday. The game is called Princess Peach: Showtime and will have a theater theme. The game will be released on March 22 for the Nintendo Switch.

In Princess Peach: Showtime, players must save the Sparkle Theater from an evil witch, Nintendo says in a trailer. Each level has a different theater theme, with Peach getting different outfits that give her different powers. The trailer shows, among other things, a mystery level with Detective Peach, in addition to levels with Swordfighter Peach, Patissier Peach and Kung-Fu Peach. Each level is designed as a kind of set for a play.

Nintendo announced last year that it was working on a game starring Princess Peach. However, the company shared few concrete details at the time, apart from a release in 2024. The company now also shares the concrete release date of March 22.
