Software Update: Bolt 3.4.0

Version 3.4 of Bolt has been released. Bolt is an open source content management system and is in some ways comparable to programs such as WordPress and Drupal. Bolt is easy to use, for both installation and management, has several good looking templates that work with Twig are customizable, and is optimized for both desktop and mobile environments. Recently there is also a website where Bolt themes live to try out and also a site with an overview of all available extensions.

New in this release are so-called Named Repeater Blocks to use different, predefined content blocks on a page. Also new is the Singleton content type for content where there is only one of them, such as the homepage. In addition, the uploading of images and files has been improved and a lot has changed under the hood. Bolt 3.4.0 released!

We’ve released Bolt 3.4, with a number of new features and improvements. Since Bolt 3.3.0 we’ve merged 216 Pull Requests, with a total of 686 commits.
