According to multiple sources, Nvidia is working on laptop variants of the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, RTX 4070 and RTX 4060, with the 4090 getting a tgp of between 150 and 200 watts. The RTX 40 laptop series of graphics cards will reportedly be announced at CES 2023.

The flagship of the series is according to Wccftech the GeForce RTX 4090 with 16GB ram, which uses the AD103 Ada Lovelace GPU. At the base clock frequency of 1590MHz, the laptop video card would have a tgp of 150 watts, while at the boost clock of 2040MHz this would increase to 175W. The medium also talks about a Dynamic Boost where the tgp rises to 200 watts.

The brand would also work on other laptop GPUs in the RTX 40 series. There is talk of an RTX 4080 with 12GB ram and an RTX 4070 and 4060 with 8GB ram. These versions would also require quite a lot of power with Dynamic Boost.

Incidentally, it is unlikely that the two latter variants will be announced during CES 2023, which starts on January 5, since the regular 4070 and 4060 for desktops have not yet been announced. Wccftech even mentions an RTX 4050, but so far unofficial sources like an accidental a retailer’s published product page said nothing about this.
