Publisher Bigben and developer Eko Software have announced that Warhammer: Chaosbane will be released on June 4. The game will be released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Players who purchase more expensive versions will be able to play from May 31.

Before the release, there will be a closed beta, which will be accessible from March to players who have placed a preorder. A second beta period will follow in April. During the betas, players can get started with the start of the campaign and test different classes in co-op, with up to four players. In the action RPG, players can take on the role of a human, high elf, wood elf or dwarf.

Warhammer: Chaosbane costs 50 euros. The Deluxe Digital version, which includes earlier access to the game, costs 55 euros. For 70 euros, buyers get the Magnus Edition, which also includes a season pass, for DLC that comes out later.

The game is based on the Fantasy setting of the Warhammer universe. Games Workshop stopped supporting its companion tabletop game Warhammer Fantasy Battle in 2015. However, the French Eko Software wanted to use the setting for a game and has received permission to do so.
