Bethesda will not release The Elder Scrolls 6 for the PlayStation ecosystem, according to multiple internal Microsoft documents. The RPG would not be released until 2026 or later. Until then, Microsoft could still adjust the release strategy.

From a court document from the case between the FTC and Microsoft, discovered by journalist Stephen Totilo, it turns out that The Elder Scrolls will only be released for Xbox and PC. An image from the tech giant shows that Starfield and Redfall would also be released exclusively for the Xbox and PC platforms. Also in another recently revealed court document It says that Microsoft considers it ‘unlikely that The Elder Scrolls 6 will be released for any platform other than Xbox and PC. During the lawsuit, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer said that it had not yet been definitively determined on which platforms the RPG would be released, which may indicate that the documents in question only describe a preliminary strategy.

On the other hand, it is not the first time that it has been suggested that the long-awaited RPG will not be released for the PlayStation; Spencer did this himself before. In addition, the image states that a release date for The Elder Scrolls 6 has yet to be determined, but that this is expected to be 2026 or later. Spencer previously said that the game would not be released until 2028.
