Take-Two has shipped 17 million copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 since its release on October 26. The publisher makes this known in its quarterly figures. GTA V has passed 100 million deliveries.

According to Take-Two, more copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 had already been delivered after eight days than of the first part. That game from 2010 has been delivered more than 15 million times. The figures given by the publisher are for deliveries to stores, not for direct sales to customers. Take-Two previously announced that the opening weekend was good for a turnover of 725 million dollars from actual sales. At the time, the publisher did not mention sales numbers of the game.

In a teleconference about the numbers, Take-Two says that more than 100 million copies of Grand Theft Auto V have been delivered. The publisher does not give an exact figure. In the previous quarter it appeared that deliveries had almost passed 100 million. GTA V is still making a lot of money for the publisher through both sales of the game and in-game purchases in GTA Online.

Take-Two posted quarterly revenue of $492.7 million, up 11 percent from the same period last year. Those figures cover the period up to September 30, so the deliveries of Red Dead Redemption 2 that came out on October 26 are not yet included. Take-Two expects to raise $1.4 billion in the next quarter. Last year it was $654 million in the same period.

Recurring expenses revenues, i.e. microtransactions, DLC and other in-game purchases, grew 12 percent and accounted for 49 percent of total sales in the quarter.
