Sony has unveiled two dedicated controllers for the PlayStation 4. For the controllers, the company has teamed up with Razer and Nacon. They have additional buttons and functions, and are marketed to e-sports gamers.

The Razer Raiju features additional buttons and triggers on the top of the controller. At the bottom, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, assisted by buttons to adjust the volume of the sound. Furthermore, the thumbsticks are equipped with removable rubber caps, which should provide extra grip, and there is a switch to switch between different profiles.

On the Nacon Revolution, the location of the left thumbstick and the directional keys have been swapped. The thumbsticks can be tilted at a greater angle than normal ones and can be switched between four different profiles. Furthermore, the controller is equipped with extra buttons, which can serve as shortcuts.

Both controllers must be connected with a detachable 3-meter USB cable. They do not have a wireless connection option. With a cable, the controllers do not suffer from interference during busy events with a lot of wireless equipment.

Nothing is known yet about the prices and availability in the Benelux. In the comments on the PlayStation website, a user indicates that he has seen in a press release that the Nacon Revolution has a suggested retail price of 110 euros. However, this information has not been confirmed anywhere.
