Sony brings Don’t Starve to PS Vita

Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that adventure game Don’t Starve will be available for the PlayStation Vita starting September 3. The Don’t Starve: Giant Edition includes not only the original downloadable game, but also the Reign of Giants expansion.

Don’t Starve: Giant Edition is currently being certified for handheld PS Vita, according to development studio Klei Entertainment, after which the game should go on sale on September 3, the official PlayStation blog reports. The Vita version costs $13.99 and includes the original Don’t Starve game, as well as additional content associated with the Reign of Giants expansion, which brings new seasons and new playable characters to the game, among other things. Gamers who already own the PlayStation 4 version of Don’t Starve can download the Vita version for free. However, due to some changes in the code, there is no cross platform support.

Don’t Starve is an adventure game in which the main objective of the player is to stay alive as long as possible in a game world where death is lurking everywhere. The game was initially released in April 2013 for Windows, OS X and Linux. A year later, the game also appeared for the PlayStation 4. Clay Entertainment has always said that Don’t Starve would also come to the Vita, iOS and other mobile platforms in due course, but there are no other versions besides the PlayStation Vita version. versions announced.
