Sony Bravia will be the first TV to receive support for the Zoom for TV app in the summer

Sony Bravia televisions are the first TVs to receive support for the Zoom for TV app on the Google Play Store.

To make video calls via the TV with the Zoom app, users do need an external Bravia CAM, writes Sony. That webcam was released last year and costs 200 euros separately, but is also supplied as standard with the TVs from the Z9K and A95K series. Using the Bravia webcam automatically adjusts the sound and screen brightness based on the viewer’s position. Apps such as Zoom can also be controlled with hand gestures. The native Zoom app should be available ‘at the beginning of the summer’.
