Download Zoom Player 5.00 Technology Preview 8

Inmatrix is ​​almost ready with version 5.00 of Zoom Player, but has still released a new preview, the eighth already. This so-called Technology Preview is available in the well-known flavours Standard, Professional and WMV Professional from this page are downloaded. The differences in the three versions are in the price and options. The standard version is the only one that can be used for free and plays the most common formats, the pro version can also be used to play DVDs and the WMV Professional version can also play DRM content.

The most notable change in this version is a completely rewritten media library, a screenshot of which can be seen at the bottom of this posting. The developers of Inmatrix also had the following to say about this release:

Preview 8 is nearly feature complete (still missing the new options dialog, updated color control interface and the new skin).

Quite a few interfaces have been restructured, making them much easier to understand and use (this includes both full screen navigational interfaces and windowed interfaces such as the skin selector and chapter editor).

We’ve also licensed virtualdub’s scaler, making Zoom Player’s navigational interfaces work faster and with slightly better image quality.[break]
