Download XviD 1.0.0 final
The team behind the open source video codec XviD has released the final version of the 1.0.0 branch after releasing four release candidates. The final is available in three different packages, but must be compiled before use: the first download is packaged as a bzip2-file, while the second package can be downloaded as a regular tarball. The last variant contains the 1.0.0-final as a zip archive. What the exact changes are of this version can be read in the changelog†
xvidcore
- minor bug in trellis quantification optimization.
- speedup for vhq>1 & qpel modes (motion search was done twice, one in SAD mode and one in RD mode)
- Fixed MV clipping with non valid DivX 5 based sequences.
- Fixed RGB 16 bit C functions.
- Fixed possible VOL header corruption for fps=1 encodes.
- DC misprediction caused by bad value clipping (bug forwarded to the ffmpeg project too).
VFW front end
- Fixed mismatching or hints<-> widgets.
DShow frontend
- none
