WinHex is a universal hex editor that allows you to apply low-level data processing through an easy interface. It features, among other things, a RAM editora Data Interpreter and a disc editor† Version 11.8 SR-5 has recently been released and fixes the following bug that occurs in version 11.8, among others:

Bug in 11.8:

Create new 1MB file.

Fill file with random data.

Do an EBCDIC -> ASCII conversion.

Scroll up & down the file.

You will notice that every other 64K block does not get converted.
