Two weeks ago a stable version of Wine was released and now a new development version has been released. Wine, regular visitors to the Meuktracker know by now, is an open source implementation of the Windows api. This makes it possible to run DOS and Windows programs on Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD, among others. Wine is contributed by a large group of developers, which is why it was decided to release a new build every two weeks, instead of waiting for a number of new features to be ready. The database with applications that work under Wine, with or without some minor adjustments, contains 14,907 titles at the time of writing. Below you will find what has been changed and improved in this release:

• New builtin wscript.exe (Windows Script Host) program.
