Download WinAce 2.61

The German e-merge GmbH has provided its archiving program WinAce with an update to version 2.61. This program can pack and unpack ace, zip, lha, ms-cab and java jar, and is also capable of unpacking rar, arc, arj, gzip, tar and zoo. Finally, multi-volume archives, self-extracting archives and password encryption are also possible. In version 2.61, a vulnerability has been fixed that could allow specially prepared arj files to access the computer. The release notes therefore look like this:
