Download Weather Watcher 5.5

Mike Singer has updated Weather Watcher to version 5.5. This program can provide current weather conditions and forecasts for the next ten days from just about any location in the world. In addition, it can also display various weather maps and even set them as wallpaper on the desktop. Two files are waiting for you: one update if you already have a 5.x version installed, or a sufficient installation. The changelog looks like this:

What’s new in version 5.5:

• “On exiting Weather Watcher, set wallpaper to original image” option has been fixed.
• “Sound until acknowledged” in “Sounds” Options area now works correctly.
• “Tray Tooltip” Options now display correctly.
• “Check for new version” option in the Weather Watcher system tray menu is now working correcting.
• Weather Watcher registry key is now removed when Weather Watcher is uninstalled.
• When Weather Watcher is installed, an uninstall link is added to “Add/Remove” in the Windows Control Panel.
• Typos fixed in map names.
• Ampersands now display correctly in maps menu.
• Weather/Wallpaper now updates at proper intervals.
• Hourly Forecast now displays the correct day.
• “Disable IE clicking sound” option now correctly resets the IE clicking sound.[break]
