Download TweakVI 1.0 build 1070

Totalidea Software today released version 1.0 build 1070 of TweakVI. This tweaking program for Windows Vista is available in three different variants. First of all, there is the free Basic version. It comes with eleven different plugins. In addition, there are the paid versions Premium and Ultimate. These are sold for 24 and 32 euros respectively and are supplied with a total of 24 and 37 plugins. Exactly which these are is at the bottom this page to find. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

Added feature

• ‘Premium’ and ‘Ultimate’ versions only: added a feature to the ‘File Tools’ plugin to remove file type associations to the ‘File Tools’ plugin
• ‘Premium’ and ‘Ultimate’ versions only: added a feature to the ‘File Tools’ plugin to create additional context menu commands for the file/folder right click menu
• ‘Premium’ and ‘Ultimate’ versions only: Added an option to the ‘Autostarts’ plugin to de-activate registry autostarts
• All versions: Added an option to the ‘Outlook tweaks’ plugin to allow setting a default path for .pst and .ost files

Improved/changed feature

• Several minor changes and fixes to the main application
• Some very minor changes to the ‘Windows Utilities’ plugin
• Some improvements to the ‘File Tools’ unnecessary file search feature
• Quite a lot of internal improvements to most premium and ultimate plugins
• Changes to the uninstaller to allow saving snapshot files and other TweakVI configuration files on uninstallation
• Updated language files
• Updated help file

Bug fixed

• Updated snapshot feature: Outlook 2007 settings were not saved under certain conditions
• Some fixes to the new subscription manager
• Fixing a few issues in the ‘Desktop tweaks’ plugin
• Some minor setup issues fixed
