Download TortoiseSVN 1.6.10
On Monday, version 1.6.10 of TortoiseSVN was released. This program is a user interface for Subversion, which is used by developers for version control. This is almost indispensable when several people are working on a project. TortoiseSVN integrates itself as a shell extension into Windows and can be used on its own or in combination with an ide. Version 1.6.10 of TortoiseSVN comes with Subversion 1.6.12 like the previous release. If an older version is already present on the system, the setup will have to be run twice and the second time for ‘repair’ to be chosen. This release fixes the following four issues:
Bugs fixed in version 1.6.10
- Updating single items from the check-for-modifications dialog could lead to inconsistent working copies.
- Adding a file in an unversioned folder from the commit dialog only marked the file as added.
- The overlays didn’t work on win2k up to XP SP2.
- The ‘browse’ button (…) in various dialogs did nothing when a file:/// url was specified.
