Download SlimBrowser 3.86.004

SlimBrowser uses the Microsoft Internet Explorer engine to add its own features to the browsers. After installing the program, you can surf using tabs, sudden pop-ups are a thing of the past and passwords on sites are automatically filled in. The latest version of SlimBrowser is numbered 3.86.004 and is available from this location be brought down. It’s incomplete changelog shows the changes from build 1 to build 2 of the 3.86 series:

Build 001-002

• Add menu item “Language->Translate current page into English”
• Add option “Enable Flash Animation” in Misc page of the options dialog
• Add “In-Page Ad-Filter” page to options dialog with the following options
  • Script Filter
    • Filter out flash objects
    • Filter out distracting pictures flying all over the page
• Add “Sort By Name”, “Rename” to the context menu (right click to access) of the favorites menu and links bar.
• Add “Set Tab Name” and “Release Tab Name” to site tab context menu.
• Bug fix: ScriptPad can view source code correctly for URL terminating with a “#” bookmark.
• Bug fix: web page editors can view source code correctly for URL terminating with a “#” bookmark.

• Add favorites tool bar (Not the same as the favorites side pane, but has the same style as the links bar) on which favorite items are shown
• Add utilities toolbar on which you put shortcut to external utilities
• Add option to filter in-page standard size banner ads It’s available in the “In-Page Ad-Filter” page of the options dialog. All the in-page ad-filter options are also available from the “Download Control” drop-down toolbar button.
• Bug fix: you can now drag URL to links bar even if it’s empty.
