Rhythmbox is a media player for the Linux desktop Gnome. The interface is inspired by Apple’s iTunes program. Support for MP3 and Ogg files is provided along with a handy overview of all available songs and playlists, the option to rip music from CD and sync with an MP3 player. Version 0.8.5 has recently been made available with the following release notes:
