Piriform has released version 1.33.451 of Recuva. The name of the program is an alternative spelling for the English word ‘recover’, and that is exactly what the program does: it tries to recover deleted files on, for example, the hard drive or memory card of a digital camera or MP3 player. Recuva is free for both private and commercial use and works with all versions of Windows, except Windows NT. Recuva is only one single executable and can be used as zip file or if installation file are downloaded. New in this release is support for different sized sectors, which can occur in Windows 7. The deep scan has also become a lot faster. The full changelog of this release looks like this:
