The development of version 2.2 of Rainmeter is in full swing and release 1008 has now been released. Rainmeter is a program that allows you to customize the desktop of a Windows PC. For example, it is possible to display all kinds of information as a kind of overlay, such as free space on the hard disk, network activity and whether there is new e-mail. Functional applets can also be used to, for example, make notes or send tweets. New in version 2.2 is, among other things, that the application can be used in different languages. The changes made to the Meuktracker since the previous entry can be found below.

What’s new in Rainmeter 2.2

Rainmeter 2.2 is fully backwards compatible with skins written for any version of Rainmeter, and you need only install it on top of your existing installation. No need to uninstall 2.1 or worry about overwriting changes you have made.
