Download PowerArchiver 2011 12.00 RC5

ConeXware has released the fifth release candidate of PowerArchiver 2011, which is version 12.00. This archiver can handle common archive types, such as zip, 7z, cab, lha tar, gzip, bzip2, rar, arj, arc and ace. In addition, it can read CD and DVD images such as iso, bin, img and nrg. PowerArchiver is available in two different versions: a standard and a professional edition. The first contains everything we’ve come to expect from the old PowerArchiver; the other can also burn CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays, create ISO files and also mount them as a virtual drive. Finally, it can also be used as an ftp client and to make backups. The following improvements have been made in this release:

Power Archiver 2011 RC5:

• New Windows 7 style ribbon GUI with smoother colors and effects.
• Improvements to the associations – ability to associate for all users on the computer and some smaller changes to usability.
• Translation improvements for German language.
• Various other improvements and fixes.
