Passmark released version 3.0 build 1001 of Wirelessmon on Tuesday. This program monitors the status of the wireless network card and the access points within its range. For example, it can be seen whether the network is configured correctly, it can be tested whether all components are working properly, whether the access points are secured and what the throughput speeds of the network are. In addition, the program can assist in locating the antenna, where directional antennas are used, and can help locate interference or other problems.
