25844 announced that a second technology preview of Opera has been put online. To try it you can use 2 different flavors. one which is dynamically linked to QT and one which is statically linked to QT†

Then you can choose from a lot of distribution packages.

Unfortunately there are no release notes available. So it’s a matter of trying. The annoying download bug that I regularly ran into has at least disappeared.
