Software update: nLite 0.99.5 beta 3

Spread the love

nLite has received a minor update to version 0.99.5 beta 3. This program can be used to modify a Windows 2000, XP or 2003 installation CD. For example, unused components can be removed and service packs can be slipstreamed. This creates an installation CD that is up-to-date and has enough space to add your own programs and drivers. When everything has been adjusted to your liking, the whole can be written to an ISO file and eventually burned to a self-starting CD or DVD. The program is written in C# which makes it necessary to have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed. The changelog for this release looks like this:

general:

  • update: Slipstream and Make ISO pages
  • fix: sif BSOD (ntoskrnl.exe missing)
  • fix: dup files (agp440.sys missing)
  • fix: msh263.drv missing
  • fix: GUI tab order
  • fix: SFC patch in SP1
  • Some translations updated

component:

  • fix: Terminal Services (user config panel)
  • fix: Logical Disk Management
  • updated: Indexing Service
  • separated: Old Display Adapters
  • separated: USB Audio Support
