Download NewsLeecher 3.9 beta 15

Newsleecher version 3.9 beta 15 was released yesterday. Newsleecher is considered one of the better programs for downloading binary files from newsgroups. So it has support for nzb files, it has a so-called ‘super search’ and files can be automatically checked for completeness and then extracted. The most notable improvement in this version is the addition of a stop button for the super search function. This release also contains bug fixes, because the developers want to focus on version 4.0 soon and have indicated that they will only solve outstanding problems. • Added a (longtime requested) ‘Stop’ button for SuperSearch.
• Added an option to let NewsLeecher automatically convert the speed display unit between KB/s and MB/s (or Kbps and Mbps) depending on the current transfer speed.
• Fixed bug where the ‘Please Wait’ status dialog got stuck after long NewsLeecher operations
• Fixed bug where the ‘Unpause if only PAR2 Files’ option didn’t work on imported NZB files
• Fixed bug where the right-click popup menu didn’t work on the ‘Leech Specify’ dialog
• Fixed bug where NewsLeecher would sometimes get activated when importing a .NZB file, even if it was setup not to activate
• Smaller fixes here and there (a few spelling errors, etc.)
