The NewsLeecher development team has released a new release of the Usenet client on the website, which is version 1.00 beta 28. The update is available via this link down and takes up roughly 2.45 megabytes. NewsLeecher is a program to read messages from newsgroups via Usenet and to download binaries. The developers took a good look at programs like NewsBinPro, NewsPro, BNR, and GrabIt, then took the best points as the basis for NewsLeecher. The result is a program that can download from multiple servers at the same time, has support for the new yEnc coding and can handle up to 99 theads simultaneously.
