Download MSN Messenger 3.0

Microsoft has released a new version of MSN Messenger. Anyone who has a previous version will probably see the auto update appear on the screen. They have expanded the functions (see below), the most important being the sending of files and the smileys.

New features in version 3.0:

Real conversations: do you have blue fingers from typing? Then set up MSN® Messenger Service so that you can have real conversations. You can then call from PC to PC or from PC to phone.

Share your files: No more attaching files to email messages. With MSN Messenger Service you can exchange pictures, music, documents, etc.

Emoticons: Express your feelings with symbols like , and . (in Microsoft version)

Public Profiles: Let the world know who you are. Create a public profile of Passport so your friends can see what you’re up to. You can even add a photo to it.

Connecting to the Outside World: Just because your friends aren’t in front of their computers doesn’t mean you can’t reach them. You can now also send messages to their mobile phone or pager.
