Download Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.0.6

The MozillaFoundation has released the sixth update for SeaMonkey version 2.0. SeaMonkey is the continuation of the former Mozilla Application Suite and consists of a web browser and programs for e-mailing and reading news. In addition, there is a simple HTML editor. Unlike the Mozilla Application Suite, SeaMonkey is maintained by the community, while the SeaMonkey Council oversees maintenance. Version 2.0.6 fixes some security vulnerabilities and bugs. Furthermore, in some cases it was not possible to import passwords from version 1.x and that should now work.

SeaMonkey 2.0.6 contains the following noteworthy changes:

• Security fixes
• Unprivileged users are notified of security updates again
• Password import from SeaMonkey 1.x now works in some cases where it failed before
• Fixes for a number of non-security-relevant crashes, increasing the stability of the whole platform and the Mail & Newsgroups part of SeaMonkey
