Ventis Media has released version 4.0.7 of MediaMonkey. MediaMonkey is a media player with an extensive list possibilities. For example, it can play the most common audio files, can rip audio CDs to ogg, mp3, flac and wma, and tags can be edited or automatically picked from the internet. Furthermore, the program does not shy away from a collection of more than 50,000 files and can be synchronized with a portable music player.

The program is available in a free standard version and in a Gold version that costs just over 20 euros, which includes some extra options including faster CD burning. In version 4.0, support has been added for video, managing various collections, and synchronizing media to portable players, among other things. Version 4.0.7 adds support for iOS 6, among other things.

iOS 6 and iTunes 10.7 Compatibility

MediaMonkey 4.0.7 can sync with:

• all iPods/iPhones/iPads running iOS 3 /4 / 5 /6 that are available as of Sept 2012, except for the iPhone 5 which is not yet tested, provided iTunes 10.7 is installed
• all non-iOS iPods

Any version of MediaMonkey 4 can sync with any iPod, iPad, or iPhone (including the iPhone 5) via the following addon. A version of this addon is also available for MediaMonkey 3.
