On Monday, a new development build of version 6.4.9.1 of Media Player Classic was released with revision number 34. This media player builds on the look and feel of Windows Media Player 6.4. It is a light player without show, but contains many more options and settings to play back images and sound. Media Player Classic uses the direct showarchitecture and often installing the ffdshow filter is enough to play a multitude of audio and video formats.
