Software update: MariaDB 10.0.36

MariaDB is a powerful open source database server, which is especially popular as a website and forum database. The developers have released version 10.0.36. The first stable from the 10.0.x branch dates from March 2014 and has been supported for five years. The abbreviated announcement of this release is as follows:

MariaDB 10.0 is a previous stable series of MariaDB. It is an evolution of MariaDB 5.5 with several entirely new features not found anywhere else and with backported and reimplemented features from MySQL 5.6. This is a Stable (GA) release.
